Our Team:
Chief Executive Officer
In 2020, Major Bill Saunders became the Chief Executive Officer of Warfield Capital. In 2017, he was promoted to the Chief Financial Officer role. In 2011, during the formulation of Warfield Capital, Bill was elected Treasurer & Senior Financial Analyst due to his domestic & international investment expertise and passion for managing a diverse group of assets. Prior to his transition to Warfield Capital, Bill was an U. S. Army Transportation Officer. During Bill’s career, he expanded his use of advanced statistical analysis and building diversified portfolios to accelerate gains. Bill is from the Hampton Roads, Virginia metropolitan area. He has an M.B.A. in International Finance from Saint Martin’s University and earned his B. S. Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from Old Dominion University. Bill is a combat veteran & alumnus of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). All the Way!

Our History:
Warfield Capital L.L.C. (home office) was founded in 2011 by Major Bill Saunders and a group of his fellow army officers and family members. In October 2020, in the middle of the Global Pandemic of COVID-19, Warfield Capital reorganized and elected MAJ Bill Saunders as CEO. Bill's team, in three challenging years, doubled Warfield's assets under his management. In April 2024, Warfield Capital downsized and became more flexible and faster using upgraded technologies.
Our Passion:
The Warfield Capital team analyzes and invests in public companies and management teams via their company's stocks, bonds, mutual funds, REITs and ETFs. We invest in domestic and foreign companies. We create diverse and growth-oriented portfolios that meet our client's long-term goals. We’re nimble and able to quickly pivot as economic conditions change. We averaged 17% annual returns over the past 12 years. We are not day traders; we are long term investors. All Aboard!
